On Monday 27th April 2026, the UK Cyprus Enterprise Council gathered at the heart of British democracy to celebrate the powerful story of UK Cypriots who through their hard work, resilience, and enterprise have helped build, shape, and strengthen this country across generations.
We were honoured to be joined by distinguished guests including His Excellency the Cyprus High Commissioner Dr Kyriacos Kouros, Steve Reed MP, Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, on behalf of the British Government, Dame Priti Patel MP, Shadow Foreign Secretary, Bambos Charalambous MP, the first person of Cypriot origin elected to the British Parliament, Nobel Laureate Sir Christopher Pissarides, Martin Vickers MP, Bob Blackman MP, Catherine West MP and Stelio Stefanou OBE, and many more leaders across business, the professions, and public life.
It was also wonderful to see a strong presence from our Neo Gen Network, our Millennial professionals and the future of our organisation, with Zena Zenonos speaking on their behalf.
The UK Cyprus Enterprise Council exists as an agent of positive change, facilitating an innovative and successful future for enterprise in the UK, Cyprus and beyond. This event reminded us why that mission matters.
